We collect the information we need to provide your DEXA scan and deliver your results. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with anyone unless you ask us to. That's it.
When you book and receive a scan, we collect your name, email, phone number, and basic info like age, height, and weight. During your scan, we generate body composition data including body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, bone density, and visceral fat measurements.
Our website may collect basic analytics like pages visited and browser type. We use Calendly for scheduling, which has its own privacy practices.
We use your information to deliver your scan results, schedule your appointments, process payments, and follow up with you about your scans. If you book a multi-scan bundle, we keep your previous results so we can show your progress over time.
We don't sell or share your personal or health data with anyone. The only exceptions are the tools we use to run our business — Calendly for scheduling, our payment processor for billing, and email for communicating with you. If you ask us to send your results to your doctor or trainer, we'll do that.
For corporate wellness events, your individual results are yours alone. We never share individual scan data with employers.
We're a small operation. Your scan data is stored digitally on password-protected systems. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure, but we're not a tech company — we don't have a dedicated security team. We do our best to protect your information with common-sense precautions.
Under California law (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we hold, request we delete it, and opt out of any sale of your data. We don't sell data, but if you want to exercise any of these rights, just email us.
Want us to delete your information? Just email info@blurithm.com and we'll remove your data from our systems. Keep in mind this means we won't have your previous results if you come back for another scan.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update this page. We're not going to bury changes in fine print.
Email us at info@blurithm.com or call (415) 555-1234. We're happy to answer anything about how we handle your data.
